Monoco.io'nun düzenlediği "New Horizon" isimli ilk açık çağrının sergisi 18 Mayıs – 17 Haziran 2023 tarihleri arasında Bilsar Binası No:90/A’da izleyici ile buluşacak.
Açık çağrının kazananı Yiqing Chen; sergileme ödülü kazanan sanatçılar ise alfabetik sırayla Ece Duran, Eda Şarman, Eva Popovic, Gürkan Maruf Mıhçı, Kadir Kayserilioğlu, Metehan Özcan, and Ufuk Barış Mutlu 'dur. Kendilerini tebrik ediyor, katılan herkese ve seçici kurulumuza teşekkür ediyoruz.
Monoco.io, dijital ifade araçlarını bir üretim biçimi olarak kullanan sanatçıları desteklemek, görünürlüklerini arttırmak amacıyla düzenlediği “New Horizon” isimli ilk açık çağrısını duyurmaktan mutluluk duyar!
Katılım koşulları doğrultusunda dijital sanatı merkezine alan herkesi başvuru yapmaya davet eden monoco.io; bu çağrı ile dört kişilik Seçici Kurul’un değerlendirmeleri sonucu belirlenecek sanatçıya £1500 ödül verecek ve başvurular sonunda ilk 10’a giren sanatçıların işlerinden yapılacak seçki ile Londra ve İstanbul’da eş zamanlı sergi düzenlenecektir. Bu yılın seçici kurulunda Zeynep Arınç, Selçuk Artut, Esra Özkan ve Bengi Ünsal yer alıyor.

Başvuru formunu doldurmadan önce lütfen Başvuru Koşulları ve Başvuru Dosyası İçeriği ve Hazırlanırken Dikkat Edilmesi Gerekenler bölümünde yer alan maddeleri okuyunuz!
- Dijital ifade araçlarını kullanarak üretilmiş eser veya eser serisi için geçerlidir. İçerisinde dijital bir eser olmayan projelerin başvuruları katılım koşulları gereğince değerlendirilmeyecektir. (Katılım için kabul edilecek teknikler; video, fotoğraf, ses, bilgisayar temelli programlarla üretilmiş hareketli veya durağan imge, generatif ve interaktif eserler.)
- Başvuran kişi, bitmiş ve hiçbir yerde gösterilmemiş bir eserle ya da çalışmakta olduğu ve belirli bir aşamaya getirdiği dijital eserini anlatan dökümanlarla (video, görsel, yazı vb.) başvuruyu gerçekleştirmelidir.
- Başvuru yapmak için herhangi bir yaş ve okul/mezuniyet şartı yoktur.
- Kolektif sanatçı grupları başvuru yapabilir.
- Sanatçıların sergiye kendilerine ait, orijinal sanat eserleri ile katılması gerekmektedir. Eserlerin orijinalliğinden sanatçılar sorumludur.
- Başvurular yalnızca Türkiyeli ve İngiltereli sanatçılar için geçerlidir.
- Başvurular yalnızca www.monoco.io/vote internet sitesi üzerindeki formla sağlanır. Eksik veya son başvuru tarihi sonrası herhangi bir yerden iletilen dökümanlar değerlendirilmeye alınmayacaktır.
- Biyografi Türkçe veya İngilizce olarak 3. tekil şahıs dilinde yazılmalı ve maksimum 700 karakter olmalı.
- Pdf Portfolyo paylaşılması durumunda geçmiş üretimlere ait en az 5 en fazla 10 adet eser görseli içermesi gerekmektedir.
- Sanatsal pratiğinize dair sanatçı metni Türkçe veya İngilizce olarak yazılmalı ve maksimum 700 karakter olmalı.
- Sergilenmesini istediğiniz projenin/eserin açıklamasını sade ve anlaşılır bir dille oluşturmanızı tavsiye ediyoruz.

The exhibition of the first open call "New Horizon" organized by Monoco.io will be held between May 18 - June 17, 2023 at Bilsar Building No: 90/A and will meet with the audience.
The winner of the open call, is Yiqing Chen, and the exhibiting artists who have been awarded the opportunity to display their works are alphabetical order Ece Duran, Eda Şarman, Eva Popovic, Gürkan Maruf Mıhçı, Kadir Kayserilioğlu, Metehan Özcan, and Ufuk Barış Mutlu. Monoco.io is happy to announce “New Horizon”, its first open call aiming to support and increase the visibility of artists who are utilizing digital tools as a means of expression for their practice.
Entries are welcome for all artists who are primarly focusing on digital art in their practice as listed in the terms of application. Based on the evaluation of a jury consisting of four experts, the winning artist will be awarded £1500. Once the application process ends, two simultaneous exhibitions will be held both in London and İstanbul locations that will display top-ten works by the selected artists. This year's Selection Committee consists of Zeynep Arınç, Selçuk Artut, Esra Özkan and Bengi Ünsal.
The final date for application is January 31, 2023!

- This open call is valid for a work/ series of works produced by using digital tools of expression. The applications of projects that feature no digital work will be disqualified. (The acceptable techniques for application include video, photography, sound, animated or fixed images generated with computer-based programs, and generative and interactive works.)
- The applicant must submit documents (video, visuals, text, etc.) that describe their finalized work which has never been displayed before. Optionally, the applicant can also make a submission with a digital work that is on progress with supported documents such as visuals, texts and/or videos.
- The aren’t any age restrictions or any school/graduation obligations regarding the application.
- Collective artist groups are also welcomed to apply.
- Artists must apply with their own original artworks. Artists are responsible for the originality of their submitted works.
- The artists that are based in Turkey and the U.K. can apply only.
- Applications are only accepted via the form on the website www.monoco.io/vote. Applications with any missing documents, any submissions made via different channels and any documents that are submitted after the submission date will be disregarded.
- The artist biography must be both submitted in Turkish or English, in the third-person singular narrative. It must not exceed 700 characters.
- If the application includes a portfolio in a PDF format, it must feature a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 images of past works.
- The artist must submit a text both in Turkish or English describing their artistic practice. It must not exceed 700 characters.
- We recommend writing in a plain and clear language while explaining the project/work you wish to display.
- We recommend using a clear language while addressing any artwork display suggestions.
- Please make sure to submit high-quality images of the work(s) included in your application.
